I have not done very well with my Festival Chorus Diary! This is installment number 2, and we have been rehearsing Mozart's Requiem for months, with the concert now less than 4 weeks away! Progress so far: most notes are mostly learned, and we are gradually polishing the piece, and trying to remember to do everything right at the same time, and in the right order!I was going to write some impressions about yesterday's masterclass with Joseph Cullen (Director of the London Symphony Chorus, and Chorus Master of the Huddersfield Choral Society - the latter were visitors to the St Magnus Festival in 2009). But a visitor to the masterclass, Ben Whitworth, has done so on his his blog, so I will leave it to him ....
