Dies irae: rumblings from the bass section of the SMF Chorus #2

I have not done very well with my Festival Chorus Diary! This is installment number 2, and we have been rehearsing Mozart's Requiem for months, with the concert now less than 4 weeks away! Progress so far: most notes are mostly learned, and we are gradually polishing the piece, and trying to remember to do everything right at the same time, and in the right order!

I was going to write some impressions about yesterday's masterclass with Joseph Cullen (Director of the London Symphony Chorus, and Chorus Master of the Huddersfield Choral Society - the latter were visitors to the St Magnus Festival in 2009). But a visitor to the masterclass, Ben Whitworth, has done so on his his blog, so I will leave it to him ....
